Fr Ziad Hilal SJ – Jesuit Refugee Service Syria

Fr Ziad Hilal SJ of the Jesuit Refugee Service in Syria – an organisation which received the Pax Christi International Peace Award in 2014 for its outstanding dedication in providing emergency relief to Syrians since the war began in 2011 – lived in Homs (Syria) and stayed with Fr Frans van der Lugt SJ during the rebels’ occupation of the city centre. In an interview with ‘Aid to the church in Need’, he shared his impressions about
